This client was working with a realtor to sell their home. When they did a walk-thru of the house, they noticed water damage on some of the ceilings. Their realtor told them to call Honeybee Roofing to see if there were any roof leaks and to find out if they might need the roof repaired or a roof replacement. They called us out to do an inspection of their roof and to see if we thought this was something their should bring up with their insurance company. They decided they would hire Honeybee Roofing to replace their roof, no matter what their insurance company said.

They did end up filing an insurance claim for roof damage, and we worked with the client through the whole process with their insurance company. The roof claim was approved and we were able to get the roof and gutter replacements completed before they listed the home for sale. During our inspection, we had noticed that the chimney was a specific part of their roof that needed attention to ensure it would stay dry for years. We built a cricket behind the chimney to help divert water flow and keep them from experiencing any chimney leaks down the road. This was not something additional that was added to their initial quote – this was included in the initial scope of work (because we don’t take short-cuts)!
